DESCRIPTION

The 'AIR' is the perfect climber's shoe. Our design priorities were, next to power transfer and pedaling efficiency, creating a well-ventilated, lightweight shoe. At 1sub-200 gram, the AIR is one of the lightest non-compromise performance shoes on the market that will especially suit those that frequently explore warm and/or mountainous terrain. Our focus in developing the ’AIR’ was to create the perfect climber’s shoe.

Our design priorities were, next to power transfer and pedaling efficiency, creating a well-ventilated, lightweight shoe. At less than 195 gram, the AIR is one of the lightest high performance shoes on the market that will especially suit those that frequently explore warm and/or mountainous terrain. A staple feature in today’s UCI World Tour Peloton.

FEATURES

  • Airflow Keep Your Feet Cool - Those long summer rides require a comfortable, lightweight and well ventillated upper. No material is better equipped to absorb water and provide ventilation than the 1.2mm thick microfiber out of wich the AIR’s upper is fabricated.
  • Power Transfer & Pedal Efficiency -The AIR is built around our propietary ultra-stiff carbon chassis. This system provides a tight, but comfortable fit for your feet. It furthermore provides superior stiffness, maximizes power transfer and provides comfort whilst keeping our shoes’ weight at benchmark levels.
  • Modern Twist to Old School Technology - We equipped the AIR with laces, because laces, create an even pressure around the foot eliminating pressure points which equates to more comfortable feet during cycling. Granted, we do not recommend adjusting your laces on the fly, but for the AIR this disadvantage is offset by the weight advantage it provides over other closure systems.

SIZE GUIDE

How to determine the correct shoe size

  1. Take a blank sheet of paper and a pen.
  2. Place the sheet on an even floor and align it perfectly with a flat wall. We suggest securing the sheet with tape.
  3. Place your foot on the sheet making sure the heel is against the wall. The heel must be aligned with the edge of the sheet underneath.
  4. Draw or have someone help you drawing the shape of your foot on the sheet.
  5. Repeat for the other foot.
  6. Take a measuring tape and measure the length of the outline of both your feet. You can measure the width to get an additional reference and compare it with the width of the toe box.
  7. Measure it (or convert it) in cm. Then have a look at our size table below.
  8. If you have standard width and standard volume feet, we recommend the size that most closely matches your measurement. For example:
    • Foot measurement 27,3 cm = size 44.
    • Foot measurement 25,8 cm = size 41,5.
  9. If there is a length difference between your feet:
    • The shoe size corresponding to your largest foot is the correct one.
    • In case of a length difference > 5mm

This is of course only a recommendation, fit is ultimately a personal preference.
